Most councils in Staffordshire have declared a climate change emergency and have targets to meet their net zero obligations by 2050 at the latest. But Staffordshire County Council under Reform UK Ltd are outliers, having rescinded their climate change emergency declaration and made no commitment to net zero carbon. This is dangerous incoherence in local authority planning.
